Dr. Nancy Horton, D.M.D.

Dr. Nancy Horton began her career as a registered dental hygienist and she practiced as a hygienist for thirteen years prior to making the decision to pursue a career as a dentist. Upon completing her undergraduate requirements at the University of South Florida, she entered the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she excelled in all areas of dentistry and graduated in the top 5% of her class. While in dental school, Dr. Horton worked in the periodontal department to test and develop antibiotics to cure gum disease.

Dr. Horton has dedicated her career to quality, health-centered comprehensive dentistry. She has modeled her practice to reflect her belief that beautiful smiles must also be functional and healthy.

Dr. Horton has been practicing dentistry in South Tampa since 1990 and has committed herself and her staff to completing hundreds of hours of continuing education classes yearly. She has graduated from the Spear Institute and Pete Dawson post-graduate courses covering complex restorative dentistry. Dr. Horton is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Dental Implant Association.

Dr. Denise McCaskill, D.M.D.

Dr. Denise McCaskill is a native Floridian and, having spent her entire youth in the Florida Keys, she has a passion and an appreciation for the eclectic nature of people. Dr. McCaskill graduated from the University of South Florida Honors Program with a B.S. in biology and the distinction of magna cum laude.

It was during her undergraduate studies that Dr. McCaskill first met Dr. Horton. Dr. Horton’s unparalleled passion for her profession inspired Dr. McCaskill to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. McCaskill attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and upon graduation returned to join the practice of her friend and mentor.

Dr. McCaskill has committed herself to the practice of quality, health-centered comprehensive dentistry and shares the belief that a smile can only be considered beautiful when it is also functional and healthy. Dr. McCaskill is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
